"PET" - Pet means you are purchasing your pet for the purpose of enjoyment and adding a new friend to your family only. Animals sold as Pets are priced reduced and not for breeding. Some pets are pet priced due to some characteristic we feel should not be reproduced, some are the pick of the litter, some (as in chihuahuas) are just too small. The number one reason we sell as "pet" is to find our babies good non-breeding homes. Pets come with a 48 hr health guarantee. Most require nueter/spay agreements if they are too small or too young to be altered before they leave. Pets are registered and usually come with limited registration.
"BREEDER" - Hopefully - like in our home, your breeder will still be an important family member and treated as such, but is intended for breeding when he/she is old enough, even if it is just once. Breeders will be breeder priced and come with full registration and breeding rights. Breeder animals come with a 1 year written health guarantee that the new owner is required to sign and return prior to any purchase. If you are a Individual who intends to breed your Big Time Pet, you must disclose this info, prior to any sale and make sure you are purchasing a breeder priced baby. We do not sell to puppy or kitten mills , large kennels or catteries, pet shops or brokers.
"SHOW" - Show quality, is the best stock. They generally are not determined and labeled until they are 6 + weeks old and even then - we are evaluating the animal at the current time. The older they are the better we can evaluate. There is NO such thing as a show quality 2 week old animal. Great Bloodlines do not insure show babies - unfortunately. Show babies come with full registration and breeding rights, and a 1 year written health guarantee.
Big Time offers Breeder and Show quality animals to pet homes at "Pet" prices. WHY?
Our preference is always to sell to the pet home. If we have the option of selling the same animal, to a pet home, or to a breeder for more money, please understand we will always take less and choose the home that does not breed. There are already far too many people mass producing these days who are offering every animal they produce - no matter the quality- with breeding rights. Many puppies/kittens are left without homes, and end up in shelters, puppy mills and kennels/catteries who purchase low quality animals at cheap prices and breed these animals regardless of the quality or health issues. We do not condone such practices.
Will we sell to breeders? Of course, we love working with other caring breeders.
Do not expect to buy a breeder at a pet price. Breeders must be upfront, and if we find out after the animal has been spoken for… that you are a breeder/broker ect.. claiming to give my puppy a Pet home - I may at my option, cancel the sale and the deposit or the first $200.00 of the sale will be NON-Refundable.

MY DEPOSIT POLICY WORKS LIKE THIS: AFTER YOU HAVE CONTACTED US AND LET US KNOW THAT YOU WANT TO PLACE A DEPOSIT ON A PUPPY THAT IS STILL AVAILABLE ..... AND WE HAVE TALKED OR EMAILED..... AND YOU HAVE READ OUR PET LINGO PAGE.... YOU CAN PLACE A DEPOSIT ON OR PURCHASE THE PUPPY.
WE WILL HOLD THAT PUPPY FOR 10 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF RECEIPT OF THE DEPOSIT or until the pup is 8 weeks . Payment in full FOR PUPPY and shipping /delivery is due by the pups 8 week birthdate, or before shipping or pick up date, whichever comes first. No shipping arrangements are made before payment in full is confirmed.
THE INITIAL DEPOSIT CAN BE MADE ONLINE VIA PAY-PAL OR YOU CAN SEND PAYMENT IN FULL VIA US POSTAL MONEY ORDER. We prefer you send next day with a tracking number if you want us to hold the puppy. IF FOR ANY REASON, WE HAVE NOT RECIEVED A CLEARED FINAL PAYMENT WITHIN THE 10 DAYS OR when the pups reaches 8 weeks old, THE PUPPY BECOMES "AVAILABLE " AGAIN. ALL DEPOSITS and/or the first $200.00 of all sales ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, UNLESS SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOUR PUP WHILE IN MY POSSESSION.
